For this office in Kajang, a well-considered space that favours clarity and usability prevails, thanks to design elements that support rather than overshadow its purpose. Designed by GI Design Sdn Bhd, the overall concept results in an office that feels modern, efficient, and quietly distinctive.
A dark, neutral base is utilised as the anchoring theme to provide structure and consistency throughout the space. This is softened by the inclusion of natural light and open layouts, which help maintain a sense of balance. Details are kept subtle but deliberate. Material choices—such as metal frames, wood finishes, and concrete textures—add character without overwhelming the design. The use of contrast is restrained, focusing instead on creating a unified, functional interior.
In the CEO’s room, the use of warm wood finishes works well with the more industrial elements like metal frames and unique ceiling details. It creates a workspace that feels grounded and personal without being overly decorative. Meanwhile, the pantry is bright and open, intended as a casual spot for quick meals or informal conversations. It includes a small kitchenette and a few easy chairs—simple additions that make the space more usable on a day-to-day basis. The meeting room follows a similar approach. It is kept minimal, with pendant lights providing a small touch of personality and warmth.
