This spring, Yiyu unveils its inaugural collaboration with Professor Li Haoyu’s research team: the “Four Seasons” Round Table. Eighteen months in the making, this centerpiece marries China’s rich cultural heritage with a contemporary design language encapsulating the ritual of daily dining and the cyclical beauty of the year.

Drawing on plant growth cycles, the design employs a “2 becomes 3” principle to create a dynamic form. Four detachable legs symbolize the year’s four seasons, while their interlocking movement embodies yin–yang balance. The 8 cm‑thick tabletop an irregular circle hovers above legs that twist upward, delivering both stability and a sense of organic motion.

Legs: Cast from eco‑resin blended with 35% recycled coffee grounds, lending each piece a subtle “time mark.”
Tabletop: Crafted from specially treated marble that retains natural mottling and reveals a softly hidden luster.
Certifications: All components meet SGS environmental standards, reflecting Yiyu’s commitment to sustainability.

Available in two diameters 1.5 m for residential settings and 2.2 m for commercial installations the Four Seasons table serves as a focal point in any room. Early testing shows it boosts a space’s atmospheric tension by over 30%, enhancing both intimacy and visual drama.

Released on the anniversary of composer Ryuichi Sakamoto’s passing, the table honors the passage of time and the shared humanity of gathering around a meal. As Yiyu’s designers explain,
“We sought to capture life’s ebb and flow in a dining ritual transforming everyday meals into moments of temporal reflection.”
With the Four Seasons Round Table, Yiyu presents a design that is at once timeless and of-the-moment an invitation to celebrate each season’s unique warmth.
