FENDI Casa 2025 Dances Between Nature and Metal

by creativehomex

As FENDI celebrates its centennial year, FENDI Casa ushers in a bold new chapter—one that honors the house’s storied legacy while pushing the boundaries of materiality and form.

Unveiled at Milan Design Week 2025, the latest FENDI Casa collection is a poetic exploration of contrast—where organic textures meet metallic precision. Infused with refined craftsmanship, experimental surfaces, and timeless silhouettes, the collection reflects a balance between enduring elegance and contemporary spontaneity. Rooted in a deep aesthetic consistency, FENDI Casa continues to evolve with fluidity, inviting emerging talent and fresh perspectives into its creative journey.

This season marks the debut of British designer Lewis Kemmenoe, whose collaboration highlights FENDI’s ongoing commitment to nurturing new voices—a vision championed by Silvia Venturini Fendi herself. Following their first collaboration during Design Miami 2024, Kemmenoe joins the 2025 Milan showcase with an installation at the iconic FENDI Casa boutique in Piazza della Scala.

His display transforms the boutique into a tactile narrative: overlapping, tailor-inspired material swatches evoke FENDI’s fashion heritage, while the spatial composition mirrors both precision and imagination. The boutique space is divided into two distinct worlds—on the Via Manzoni side, sleek metallic tones and bold forms celebrate expressive luxury; while the Via Verdi side embraces natural textures, curved lines, and serene wood tones, offering a sense of understated sophistication. These dualities come together in harmonious balance.

Among the standout pieces:

  • Later Sofa by Ceriani Szostak: A modular seating system inspired by Rome’s Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana. Its name plays on the Latin primum laterem (first cornerstone) and the English word later, symbolizing both permanence and the passage of time. Geometric frames soften into welcoming, arched forms—offering both visual structure and enveloping comfort.

  • FENDI Cover Sofa by FF Design Studio: Designed for flexible living. Its changeable slipcover system allows the piece to shift styles effortlessly—from casual domestic settings to polished formal environments. Soft mono-cushion seating, embossed leather straps, Pequin piping, and customizable finishes embody the brand’s elevated DNA.

  • Twist Chair by Stefano Gallizioli: A sculptural silhouette with an undulating ribbon-like armrest that lends a poetic, swirling visual language to an otherwise tailored wooden frame. Available in full leather or mixed upholstery.

  • Efo Series by Peter Mabeo: The Efo coffee table deconstructs the iconic FF logo into soft, flowing volumes. It now extends into a side table and cabinet series, crafted in yellow ceramic, wood, or mixed materials. The Efo cabinet’s handles merge into the FF symbol when closed—celebrating rhythm, symmetry, and craftsmanship.
