Rekaphosis Interior Sdn Bhd, the interior design firm commissioned to design the interior of this 3,500 sqft home, creatively put together a bold palette of materials and tones to generate a sophisticated yet unique ambience throughout the main spaces.
The living room features a magnificent display of bold neutrals and accents that infuse a luxurious vibe to the space. A brown leather sofa blends with the custom-made TV cabinet adorned with a marble surface. Mirror panels on the cabinets cast a reflective glow, echoing the larger mirror panels that line the stairway. Above, the decorative ceiling provides the perfect finishing touch.
The dining room is set in its own private space enveloped by wood and marble finishing. Above the solid dining table is a beautiful chandelier illuminating the space to create an atmosphere of cosy elegance. On the side, a glass cabinet showcases the owners’ collectibles from his travels.
With its streamlined cabinetry and built-in appliances, the dry kitchen continues the home’s luxurious concept. The designer also incorporated a floor-to-ceiling pantry shelving system with glass doors to break the monotony of the solid surfaces. In the centre, a central kitchen island accompanied by two bar stools serves as an informal dining area. Opposite the glass cabinet, a doorway leads to the wet kitchen, a bright and clean space for the owner to cook comfortably.
Upstairs, in the master bedroom, a grey theme prevails to infuse the space with a lush feeling reminiscence of a luxury hotel suite. The bed leans against a wall with grey panels, while right across the room, the TV wall with its decorative details enhances the aesthetic of the space.
Adjacent to the room is the walk-in wardrobe featuring a stylish wardrobe system as well as the ultra-luxurious ensuite bathroom done up in marble.
The home also includes a spacious home office that comes complete with open shelving and a long desk. Warm sunlight streams in from the large windows to give the space a welcoming ambience.
For the kid’s bedroom and playroom, a colourful palette, art prints, and child-friendly furnishing create a playful and vibrant environment that kids would enjoy.
