Right from the start, this home exemplifies elegant simplicity. That’s the ambience that Jashen Interior Design Sdn Bhd has successfully incorporated into the living spaces of this 4-bedroom abode, but there’s more – the interior was also enhanced with a customized touch to bring out the best features in each room.
In the living room, there’s a feeling of understated luxury – thanks to the collection of custom-made furniture which optimizes the use of space. Here, the L-shaped sofa anchors the space while visually dividing the living area and the dining area. The feature wall wrapped in white polished surfaces brightens up the space, complementing the natural light that streams in through the sliding doors. However, to offset the stark effect of the all-white palette, the designers created a grey texturized feature wall on the side to give the interior depth and balance. Adjacent to this wall, a huge abstract painting enlivens the corridor space that leads to the bedrooms.
For the dining area, a custom-made dining set beautifully creates continuity with the sleek and streamlined effect that’s dominant in this home. Where the built-in shelves are adorned with the same polished white surfaces, a niche is carved out into a bench seating area that matches the dark wood dining table – a space-saving approach that also puts a personalized touch to this interior.
Across from the living area is the kitchen, which also features a clean-cut white palette highlighted with grey-toned countertops. Again, space is maximised here via the cabinetry system tailored to fit the space perfectly. The countertop is also elongated to offer more space, while dividing the kitchen and the entrance area.
As the space flows towards the sleeping quarters, all of the bedrooms are given its own colour theme. In the master bedroom, a creamy beige palette brings in a cosy atmosphere for complete relaxation. In the other two bedrooms, one takes on a cheerful purple hue for its main wall while the other features a blue-green palette that gives it a modern look and feel.
