This year’s Designer of the Year has reimagined the Restaurant and Tea Salon Mariage Frères into a world where exotic beauty, the love for decoration, the passion for colours and the urge to create scenarios in connection with nature come together in perfect multicoloured harmony!
Kaleido-scope by François Bernard
There’s plenty to discover at this booth – with a twist. Visitors can explore a selection of gift items stored joyfully according to the answers to a riddle: “If I were a scent, a country, an animal, or delicious…” and presented within cubes that remind us of both gift and treasure boxes.
2022 Rising Talent Awards Gallery
The winning designs of this year’s six winners:Hanna Kooistra, Ruben Hoogvliet and Gijs Wouters (Atelier FIG), Théophile Blandet, Vera Meijwaard and Steven Visser (VISSER & MEIJWAARD), Seok-Hyeon Yoon and Simone Post are on full display at this gallery. Additionally, the Rising Talent CRAFT Award by Les Ateliers d’Art de France and the Crafts Council Nederland and the work of this year’s winner Sanne Terweij also stole hearts at the CRAFT sector in Hall 5A.
