But it’s the clever use of curves in the lamp and TV panel that balances and completes the angular details of the meticulously selected furnishing elements. In addition, the curvilinear wall panels throughout the home are also backlit to create a visual effect that is both stunning and functional. At another corner, dark wood is employed to infuse the space with a bold and distinctive outlook, while strategically placed lighting ensures the main living spaces are brightly lit and comfortable.
Moving on to the dining room, it’s clear that no detail has been overlooked. A solid wood table extends out from the bar counter, creating an open and inviting space for entertaining. Adjacent to it, the dry kitchen incorporates a sleek black and wood-toned cabinet to display the owner’s liquor collection. Overhead, copper-coloured pendant lamps complete the modern luxury look while blending with the rest of the décor around the countertop.
For the wet kitchen, the designer kept to the same material choices with warm wood cabinetry and a polished dark countertop. The marble backsplash lends an elegant feel to the overall space, as natural light streams in from the casement window above the sink.
