Travel attractions aside, Italy has successfully built a solid reputation for creating high-quality goods over several decades. The infamous phrase “Made in Italy” denotes the unparalleled quality of Italian craftsmanship and industrial excellence.
Fortunately for Malaysians, we don’t need to travel all the way to Italy to get a first-hand experience of Italian designer products and homewares.
Specially created to bring the best of Made in Italy design and wares to Malaysians, the very vibrant Italy in Design showcase held in Bangsar Shopping Centre from 1-5 June 2022 brought together a wide range of Italian brands in one stylish location.
Exclusively curated by iN Publishers, the event was made possible thanks to the support of our esteemed sponsor MIECO who played a vital role in the event’s conceptual layout and the entire construction of the booths and event space using their premium products and materials.
Brands showcased include Vespa, Bertolli, Carguru, Ferrari, Foster, Artelia, Glem, Levanzo, Meta, Smeg, Guocera, Mieco, Nannini, Sofology, illy, LLR Interior, Gelatomio, K-Array, Magniflex, Cavarro, and Nardi. Learn more about the brands here.
Overall, the event was big hit amongst homeowners and shoppers looking for new ideas.On the first day, the Italy in Design event was officiated by H.E. Massimo Rustico, Ambassador of Italy who also delivered an inspiring speech during the launch. Present at the event were also VIP guests which included Tan Sri Dato’ Haji Mahiaddin bin Md. Yasin and celebrity Amber Chia.
