It was definitely a night to remember! The 32nd Asia Pacific Interior Design Awards (APIDA) concluded with resounding success at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 19 November. The highly anticipated Presentation Ceremony and Gala Dinner brought together over 200 esteemed guests, including prominent figures such as Mr. Tsang Chiu Hok, Victor, JP, Commissioner for Cultural and Creative Industries, as well as Iko In, Founder and Publisher of iN Publishers, alongside celebrated design masters, educators, media partners, and representatives from supporting organisations.

The evening began with a lively cocktail reception, where guests mingled while exploring showcases by winners of the Best Brand Awards. The gala dinner followed, offering an engaging platform to celebrate the remarkable achievements of the Asia-Pacific design community in an atmosphere of joy and camaraderie.

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the coveted Gold Award, which was awarded to the WWF Peter Scott Visitor Centre. Situated at the gateway to the Mai Po Nature Reserve, this extraordinary project serves as a focal point for wetland conservation, research, and immersive learning experiences. Its design not only embodies aesthetic brilliance but also demonstrates the power of architecture and interiors to foster environmental stewardship and education.

As the 32nd APIDA draws to a close, the stage is set for next year’s edition, where even more inspiring projects will take centre stage. The Asia-Pacific design community eagerly anticipates the opportunity to gather again and celebrate the transformative power of design.
“The projects showcased at APIDA 2024 highlight the incredible talent and innovation in the Asia-Pacific design community. I am impressed by how designers blend creativity with purpose, creating beautiful and meaningful spaces. I hope these works inspire future generations and set a new standard for the industry,” Iko In remarks.
