Each of these beautiful homes features its own minimalist theme using a different approach to create an atmosphere of luxurious simplicity and serenity.
Eco-Chic Serenity
With its “eco-chic” concept, this 3,660 sqft home at Chemara Hill, Seremban is a picture-perfect depiction of serene simplicity. Designed by SQFT Space Design Management Sdn Bhd, the home features an eye-soothing blend of soft tones and a warm ambience against a neutral backdrop.
In the living hall, the space evokes a calm feeling immediately with its light-tone walls, sleek flooring, and cosy furniture piece. Sunlight streams into both the living room and the adjacent dining area to create a relaxing atmosphere. Through the large sliding doors, the homeowners are offered beautiful views of lush green landscapes while they are seated at the dining table. For the master bedroom, the designers kept the main palette simple while infusing a selection of soft furnishing to generate a tranquil vibe that is perfect for a good night’s sleep.
Opulent Minimalism
Tasked to create a luxurious yet minimalist living space for a bungalow in Tropicana Indah, interior designer Kalvin Gan put together an impressive composition of plush furniture and furnishing with dazzling details.
All around, the walls are kept white and pristine, while custom-made features enhance the minimalist concept. The feature wall with a built-in cabinet maintains a clean and uncluttered look in the living area, while decorative lighting set off a luxurious effect. Similarly, in the bedroom, light neutrals consisting of browns, beiges, and off-whites create a serene vibe complemented by elegant details. The bathroom is also given an exquisite opulent touch with marble tiles, contrasted by black cabinetry.
Luxurious Simplicity
Located at The Hamstead, Desa Tun Razak, this condo designed by BOLDNDOT interiors features a composition of modern furniture pieces amid a serene backdrop comprising black, white, and oak with clean lines to create a neat and simple living atmosphere. To ensure a cohesive design outcome, the designer employs the principle of “simplification” and “minus”, only keeping the necessary furniture and decorations.
Within the key living spaces, white walls and simple ceiling lights combine immaculately to create a minimalist space that’s also warm and welcoming. A light-toned couch anchors the living room, complemented by a “floating” TV cabinet. The kitchen maintains an all-white appeal, with streamlined cabinetry. The same minimalist approach extends all the way to the bedroom, where a floor-to-ceiling wardrobe keeps the room spacious and clutter-free.
