The highly anticipated combined award ceremony of the International Furniture Leadership Awards (FLA) and International Interior Design Awards (IDA), which took place on 19 March 2023 at the 51st China International Furniture Fair in Guangzhou, China, was a resounding success. A momentous occasion, the event, organised by FurnitureAndFurnishing.com, celebrated the crème de la crème of companies and individuals in the furniture and interior design industries worldwide.
23 companies and organisations and five individuals were presented with a grand total of 32 awards. These outstanding winners represented various sectors, including retail, wholesale, manufacturing, interior design, interior fit-out, and trade associations, and hailed from 13 countries across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Europe, and North America, illustrating the global reach and influence of the furniture and interior design industries.
The FLA and IDA awards are the most coveted honours in the furniture industry, and it was an immense privilege for attendees to witness so many accomplished industry players come together to celebrate their success and contribution to the industry.
Publisher and Founder of iNPublishers Malaysia, Iko In, who represented Malaysia in the award’s panel of judges, remarked in his speech, “The IDA is an event that recognises the hard work and dedication of interior designers from around the world, and it is a privilege to be a part of this esteemed panel of judges.
