Thailand’s stage for creative soft power, showcasing fashion, lifestyle, and cultural aesthetics to the world

When design evolves beyond aesthetics to become a language of a nation, a catalyst for industry, and a strategy for innovation, Thailand steps onto the global stage with STYLE Bangkok 2025, a lifestyle and fashion exhibition that champions the country’s creative soft power. Rooted in culture and elevated by creativity, this design-centric event brings together beauty, sustainability, and business in one vibrant platform.

Co-organized by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) and the Thai Chamber of Commerce, STYLE Bangkok 2025 officially opened its doors on April 2 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) in Bangkok. This international trade show features over 440 exhibitors from Thailand and abroad, presenting a diverse range of products across fashion, lifestyle, design, sustainability, and craftsmanship. The trade value from the event is expected to reach THB 1.6 billion.

Thailand’s Deputy Minister of Commerce, Suchat Chomklin, emphasized the vital role of the lifestyle and fashion industries in the national economy, with more than 90% of businesses being SMEs, generating over 2 million jobs. In 2024, Thailand’s exports in these sectors reached USD 9.74 billion, with a growth of 4.29%, and projections show that the figure will surpass USD 10 billion in 2025.

“STYLE Bangkok is not just a trade platform,” said Suchat. “It is a strategic arena that showcases Thailand’s design soft power. By centering creativity and innovation, we unlock new opportunities for sustainability and cultural synergy. I believe businesses can thrive by embracing both environmental and social responsibility.”

According to Sunanta Kangvalkulkij, Director-General of DITP, this is the eighth edition of STYLE Bangkok, spanning 702 booths and drawing participants from across the globe, including China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Australia, Ghana, Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos, and Cambodia. The product categories range from home décor and furniture to fashion, accessories, and curated design items, targeting international buyers who seek trend-driven, design-led, and culturally inspired products.
