Exhibit Introduction
Tai Ping x STEVE LEUNG “Da Di Collection” – Emerald Hush

“Da Di Collection” is the latest series introduced by Tai Ping Carpets, in collaboration with internationally renowned architect and designer Mr. Steve Leung. It comprises six bespoke designs, each capturing the essence of nature’s seasonal transitions. Each piece reflects a profound dialogue among the creators: Steve’s intricate designs, the artisans’ skilled craftsmanship, and the earth’s inherent vitality infused into the raw materials. This synthesis elevates carpet manufacturing to the realm of elegant art forms.

The “Emerald Hush” piece offers a graceful tribute to bamboo in Spring, showcasing its fresh and resilient life stance. The design features clear horizontal lines and distinct geometric structures that echo the natural segments and dynamic spirit of bamboo. Through strong visual contrast and sleek lines, it elevates the pure texture of nature into a modern and refined artistic language, revealing profound meaning in simplicity and vitality in structure.

MOORGEN x STEVE LEUNG – Smart Accent Lamp Designer Series – SALUTE

SALUTE, exclusively designed by Steve Leung, redefines functional design with a stylish twist. SALUTE seamlessly blends nature and design through three design variations. Its sleek black frame extends like sculptural branches, while layered “leaves” double as glowing coasters — can be united together as an artistic table lamp or taken out as individual coasters, perfect for serving whisky, champagne, wine, or other beverages. When illuminated, light goes through the structure as if sunbeams and shadows permeate through the forest — an innovative touch ideal for elevating evening gatherings.

MOORGEN x SLD · Andrea Bonini – Smart Accent Lamp Designer Series – AUREA

Inspired by the timeless beauty of ancient architecture and classic sculpture, AUREA embodies purity of form and minimalist lines, creating an elegant and refined design that blends seamlessly into any space. A gentle rotation of the leather handle sets the overlapping discs in motion, orchestrating a delicate interplay of light and shadow, making it a perfect choice for luxury hotels and residences.

MOORGEN x SLD · Andrea Bonini – Smart Accent Lamp Designer Series – LÙMIA

LÙMIA, inspired by the warm glow of the Tuscan sunset, combines artisanal leather and a crystal clear base to create a floating effect, transforming any space into a sophisticated retreat. This harmonious duality elevates lighting to an art form, where the refraction becomes a celebration of refined craftsmanship and visual poetry.

Mr. QIAN Li Huai, Bamboo weaving artist – Bamboo Weaving Piece “Taihu Stone”

Mr. QIAN Lihuai, a bamboo weaving artist, is the representative inheritor of the provincial-level intangible cultural heritage, Wuzhen Bamboo Weaving, in Zhejiang Province. With exquisite craftsmanship and profound philosophical insight, he blends the natural spirituality and humanistic sentiment of traditional bamboo weaving to create ingenious works that embody both traditional essence and contemporary aesthetics. Mr. QIAN is dedicated to promoting the contemporary reinterpretation of traditional bamboo weaving, elevating this ancient craft into the realm of art. His works have been exhibited in numerous global locations, including Paris, Tokyo, Venice, Singapore, Budapest, Beijing, and Shanghai, and have been collected by international museums, art galleries, and private collectors. Additionally, he is a collaborating artist with internationally renowned brands such as Burberry, BVLGARI, Louis Vuitton, and VALEXTRA.

The displayed artworks include the bamboo weaving piece “Taihu Stone”, fashioned from bamboo strips to mimic Taihu stones, paying tribute to all forms of life that silently grow between heaven and earth. It skillfully combines the warm flexibility of bamboo with the rugged hardness of stone, showcasing a balanced life attitude through the interplay of soft and hard.

SIXINCH x Steve Leung: LAZY PANDA Furniture Series

Internationally renowned designer Mr. Steve Leung, along with Heidi Chan, Design Director of Steve Leung Designers Limited, leads a team in collaboration with the SIXINCH brand. They draw inspiration from the lazy and cute postures of pandas, merging Eastern and Western aesthetics with SLD’s iconic minimalist style to create the LAZY PANDA furniture series, which blends artistry with playfulness.

As a symbol of peace and harmony, the panda’s relaxed demeanour reflects modern aspirations for a beautiful life. The series includes posture stools inspired by pandas’ “eating, playing, sleeping” positions, parent-child stools that can be separated or combined, and combinable panda stools adaptable to various spatial needs.

Featuring a black-and-white colour scheme and smooth lines, the series showcases imaginative art furniture. It employs innovative foam coating technology to achieve seamless shapes, using antibacterial, easy-to-clean materials suitable for various indoor and outdoor settings, encouraging users to explore arrangement options and create personalized, adaptable spaces.
