World’s No. 1 Smart Home Appliances brand Midea made a commanding return to the 101st edition of IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung) in Berlin, one of the world’s most influential consumer electronics fairs. Sharing the stage with leading global brands, Midea unveiled its forward-looking theme “Master Your Home”, presenting a fully integrated vision of the smart home of tomorrow. Through immersive scenarios and product showcases, the brand translated technology into tangible lifestyle solutions, reaffirming its position as the world’s No. 1 smart home appliance brand.
Five Master Zones: A Complete Home Ecosystem
Midea’s exhibition was structured around five core areas, each exploring a distinct aspect of modern living: SPACE MASTER, XPRESS MASTER, SMART MASTER, AI ECO, and BUILT-IN. Together, these zones illustrated how cutting-edge technology, thoughtful design, and intelligent systems can converge to create a holistic home experience.
SPACE MASTER: Maximizing Every Inch
Efficiency in compact kitchens took center stage with Midea’s new refrigerator featuring MegaMax technology. Despite a slim 60 cm width, it offers an impressive 443-liter capacity, including a 130-liter freezer and a 47% larger produce compartment. Complementing this was an air-fry oven with nine multifunctional cooking modes, delivering healthier meals with up to 90% less fat.
XPRESS MASTER: From Zero to Gourmet in Minutes
For consumers balancing tight schedules with high standards, XPRESS MASTER products delivered speed without compromise. A dual-basket air fryer enabled parallel cooking of multiple ingredients, while a new built-in steak oven, with rapid heating and precision moisture-lock technology allowed even novice cooks to achieve restaurant-quality results at home.
SMART MASTER: Appliances That Understand You
Midea’s SMART MASTER zone demonstrated a home that listens, learns, and responds. Air conditioners could interpret voice commands and proactively adjust to comfort levels, while ovens recommended recipes based on user preferences. A highlight was Mira, the AI-powered household robot, which greeted visitors with handshakes and dance, embodying the seamless integration of AI into everyday life.
AI ECO: Sustainability Made Effortless
In a world prioritizing sustainability, Midea introduced AI ECO solutions. Leveraging predictive algorithms and big data, the system achieves up to 30% energy savings. The result: energy efficiency is no longer a conscious trade-off but an effortless, invisible part of daily living.
BUILT-IN: The Art of Invisible Elegance
Midea’s BUILT-IN line transformed kitchens into stages of personal expression. With clean, minimalist forms, three sub-series: Essenza, Ispira, and Eleva, embodied modern, elegant, and minimalist styles.
High-profile collaborations enriched the showcase: TEKA’s Van Gogh limited series, created in partnership with the Van Gogh Museum, embedded art into appliances, while Küppersbusch introduced graphite and matt black luxury built-ins series.
Beyond Function: Ritual and Refinement
Highlights extended to the CHILL MASTER refrigerator, offering multiple ice textures via One Touch Auto Fill, enhancing the ritual of everyday hydration. The Flow-In Hob 3.0, combining an ultra-slim induction cooktop with silent ventilation, preserved both performance and spatial harmony. Meanwhile, the Titan dishwasher accommodated up to 16 place settings, redefining post-meal cleanup as a moment of leisure.
Living Comfort in Extreme Conditions
Designed for Nordic winters, the Raynor air conditioner delivered reliable heating even at –40°C, with a maximum heating output of 8kW and A+++ energy efficiency. Its durability was ensured by advanced frost- and corrosion-resistant technologies, including proprietary Prime Guard Hyper Grapfins coating, specialized heating chassis, and Flash Defrost ceramic bearings.
Clean Living, Redefined
Finally, Midea presented innovations for laundry and floor care: a 28-inch heat pump washer-dryer offering water-efficient garment care, and the AT6 Ultra floor washer with 24,000 Pa suction power and 450 RPM roller speed, setting a new benchmark for deep cleaning.
At IFA 2025, Midea demonstrated that home appliances are no longer just tools of convenience, they are intelligent, efficient, and aesthetic partners that anticipate human needs. With “Master Your Home,” Midea underscored its ambition not only to lead but also to redefine the future of smart living.
