Hey Ken! Can you tell us more about The Roof Studio?
The Roof Studio is an interior design studio which possesses a highly innovative spirit. I have been in this industry for over 10 years now and founding The Roof Studio was the ultimate dream for me. I believe that lifestyle and innovative design ideas make spaces, therefore I put great emphasis on design by continually doing research and development, paying great attention to every detail, with the aim of meeting my clients expectations through seamless designs and quality products.
What are your initial thoughts on the new Samsung AddWash washing machine?
Well firstly, the design of it is very modern and so it looks great in any contemporary setting.
What key factors do you think you need to consider when buying a washing machine?
Definitely the quality of the washing machine. A good washing machine will be a good investment so do research to find out exactly how well the machine works, what the maintenance is like, how energy efficient it is and the durability of course.
What is the feature from the Samsung AddWash that appeal most to you?
As I have a very busy lifestyle, for me a washing machine has to be quick and easy to use. I like it when the buttons and features on the machine are clear and there are pre-set options, which means I don’t need to spend time dawdling over which wash to choose, how it should spin, the water levels and any other option it gives me. With the AddWash, my laundry can be completed in under an hour with the Super Speed pre-set, and when it’s done, it’s clean and fresh.
Do you have a favourite feature from the AddWash?
I really like the Eco Bubbles feature from the AddWash. It delivers powerful cleaning by penetrating fabric and removing dirt, in low temperatures and it is gentle on clothes!
Where would the most ideal placement of the AddWash be?
If you have a laundry area, then that would be the obvious place. These days though, a lot of condos in particular, are very tight on space, so having a washing machine in the kitchen is probably the best place. You can easily fit a front-loading washing machine, like the Samsung AddWash, under the kitchen counter, and luckily the design of the AddWash is really sophisticated so it’ll blend well with any modern kitchen style.
How has the AddWash helped you in your everyday life?
It’s definitely made chores more convenient. Thanks to the AddWash door, I can basically add laundry anytime during the washing phase. All I need to do is simply add my clothes through the AddWash door and let it keep washing. It saves me time too as I can add my pre-soaked clothes during the rinse and spin phase, and it’s also great at conserving energy.

As an interior designer, we want to make sure every little detail in a space fits and complements each other. The Samsung AddWash has a great, modern and stylish design and will look good in any home. Also, all the extra features of this washing machine make it so much more convenient. “As a designer, my life is constantly on the go, so the last thing I want to do is spend hours on laundry.
