British set designer Andy Hillman creates a giant inflatable octopus for Moncler’s “Puffy Summer” installation at 10 Corso Como, wrapping the façade in soft, sculptural tentacles.
Moncler has taken over 10 Corso Como for Milan Design Week 2026 with a supersized art installation that translates the brand’s signature puffiness into a surreal, seaside spectacle. Conceived by British installation artist Andy Hillman, the centrepiece is a giant inflatable octopus whose soft, expanded tentacles cling to the building’s façade and snake into the interior.

The installation runs from 16 to 28 April, extending Moncler’s “Puffy Summer” campaign – a transitional wardrobe designed for shifting seasonal weather. Lightweight, sculptural and colourful, the collection is built for elevated layering, moving the brand’s down‑like volume from winter insulation to summer expression.
Hillman, known for his playful inflatable animal sculptures, has created a series of campaign mascots including a whale, lobster, seahorse, crab and flamingo, each rendered in hues that match the collection. These creatures embody the seasonal mood: buoyant, bold and beautifully puffy. At 10 Corso Como, the octopus becomes the flagship display, surrounded by a 24‑look mannequin formation styled in the Summer 2026 lightweight layers. The installation blurs fashion, natural imagery and spatial design, turning the historic courtyard into a highly shareable, conversation‑driving destination.
The campaign also stars actor Jamie Dornan, featured in a playful narrative that reinforces the collection’s lightness. Moncler’s “Puffy Summer” marks a deliberate break from seasonal conventions, reimagining puffiness not as warmth but as airy, sculptural freedom.
