From the exterior, the facade of Platinum Arena is impressive and stunning. Interlocking grids and frames create a highly stylish architectural aesthetic that artistically reflects the city’s diverse mix of lifestyles that interconnect seamlessly with one another.
“The façade makes use of smaller boxes to represent a vertical village. At the same time, the frame is utilised as a layer to create a boundary between the public space and the more private space.” said Michael Gibert, the Facade Interior Design Architect of Platinum Arena
Within the two towers, “green pockets” are incorporated to give residents a place to relax and recharge themselves. The building is also optimally oriented away from direct sunlight so that the interior spaces stay comfortably cool yet receive ample daylight.
“The orientation of the two towers minimise sun glare, so the sunrise and sunset will affect the towers less. Instead of conventionally placing it in front of each other, we tilted it 60 degrees, so that we can have a sufficient amount of distance between the two towers” said Mohd Aizat Bin Kamaruzaman, the Project Architect of Platinum Arena.

There’s something for everyone at Platinum Arena, As soon as residents step out of their homes, they can choose from a range of multi-facted facilties designed to meet different activity levels and preferences.

Bringing the Sporty Concept to Life: The Serviced Apartments
To illustrate how the sports-themed concept can be carried out into the homefront, SQFT Space Design Management came up with a lively, vibrant interior style that is cosy yet unique for Platinum Arena’s Type C show unit
At 907 sqft, the apartment features a distinctive sporty and contemporary theme using a bold and minimalist palette with red accents strategically applied at specific areas. Stepping into the living room, a polished look reverberates across the entire space. The bright red TV wall stands out against a clean backdrop, immediately drawing the eyes towards the three-dimensional effect of the TV niche. Light-toned sofa and a pastel-coloured rug soften the ambience while natural light from the balcony enlivens the space.
Right next to the living room, the dining area and open kitchen seamlessly continue the minimalist palette. Clean, simple lines highlight the dining space where a contemporary table accompanied by grey upholstered chairs anchor the space. Red cut-outs of a world map accentuate the blank wall opposite the table, complemented by stylish pendant lights above the table.
At the open kitchen, reflective surfaces are used for the cabinetry to evoke an ultramodern look. Sleek black appliances blend in beautifully, contrasting against the red highlights that are employed at the top.
In the master bedroom, the designers have gone for a variety of textures to bring out the neutral palette consisting of warm greys and creamy whites. Once again, red accent in the form of a bright red headboard wall creates a focal point at the bed area. Lush soft furnishing like the carpet and billowing sheers contribute to the comfort level in the room. Next to the bed, a floor-to-ceiling black frame which serves as an open shelving unit and partition adds a sense of practical aesthetic to the room.
In the second bedroom, more colours are utilized to give it a personalized look. The headboard wall features vertical lines in blue-grey, red and white, complemented by pillows and bedding in similar shades. Shelving units with black frames are used to keep the concept consistent.
In the third bedroom, the designer has turned it into a stunning space for the owners to display their sport collections.
