Company: FUTURE LIFE INTERIOR DESIGN
Project: The Art of Purity
Location: New Taipei City, Taiwan
Design Team: Lorence Wang (Host Designer)
In New Taipei City, Taiwan, The Art of Purity by Future Life Interior Design brings simplicity and lightness into a family home. The design respects the existing four-bedroom layout, making subtle adjustments to wall placements and flow to create a more open, connected space.
The homeowner prefers simplicity and brightness, so soft creamy tones, transparent glass windows, and linear lighting create a cosy atmosphere. Moving walls expand the space without altering the layout, while an open floor plan enhances flow and family interaction. Wall finishes, a plain ceiling, and wooden flooring add depth and stability.
Balancing aesthetics and functionality, the design includes rounded fixtures and a shoe bench for a seamless living experience. A transparent layout allows easy care for elderly family members and a young child. The master’s private smoking room offers a relaxing retreat while containing tobacco hazards. Prioritising sustainability, the project minimises carbon footprint by using green, reusable materials.
