Located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Leafy Neighboring, Nature Gleam is a home designed by E.WA Interior Decoration Design Project Co. Ltd that brings the outdoors in. Inspired by the greenery of the park next door, the space feels calm and connected to nature. Through soft, earthy tones and thoughtful design choices, the home becomes a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city—where natural materials, open spaces, and gentle light all come together to create a sense of warmth, flow, and balance.
The designer seamlessly integrates the adjacent park’s freshness into the home using earthy tones that connect the interior with nature. A masterful interplay of light and harmonious elements creates a soothing, peaceful ambience.
The kitchen walls were removed to expand the space visually and improve flow, making the dining area more functional. The living room, the heart of the home, exudes warmth with a milk tea palette, stone, and glass accents. A brown-tinted glass partition replaces a closed-off wall, inviting natural light and enlarging the space.
For the bedroom, a soothing atmosphere is prevalent, thanks to a mix of lush furnishing and neutral tones. Prioritising aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability, the design incorporates natural stone, chemical-free glass, and eco-friendly materials, ensuring comfort while embracing sustainable living.
