The new MINI showroom in KL designed by Nu Infinity features a series of innovative spaces, created to give customer an exclusive experience.
Taking cue from MINI’s latest corporate identity, Nu Infinity has given the new MINI showroom at Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur a sleek and outstanding interior that puts the brand in a stylish spotlight. Designed to offer customers a unique experience, the 2,249 sqft showroom includes a display space for the brand’s latest vehicles as well as a dedicated area for their MINI lifestyle collection.
“Taking it a few steps further, we infused the same experiences and lifestyles offered by MINI into designing this space,” says Nu Infinity’s design team. “As with MINI’s tagline of “…energising peoples’ lives with maximal experiences and a minimal footprint…” we wanted to create the atmosphere upon entering this iconic showroom on the 4th Floor of the Auto Bavaria dealership along Jalan Tun Razak.”
Throughout the showroom, a distinctive ambience accompanied by appealing features in different areas beckon visitors to explore the space further. The showroom also displays MINI’s accessories that maintain the brand’s heritage and features a cosy lounge and waiting area for customers to rest and relax.
“There are break out spaces such as the casual discussion space equipped with a TV, a lifestyle pantry with a bar table filled with daily pastries and desserts, classic MINI lounge chill corner and cool open retail merchandizing corner,” say the designers. “Colours are minimalized, replaced with more variety of “real” materials that give depth. The limited number of cars are displayed more sparsely so that there’s more room for guests to meander around them. There is also ample space for events and launchings.”
According to BMW Group Malaysia managing director Harald Hoelzl, the showroom complements the growth of MINI in Malaysia. “As a fast-growing premium automotive brand in Malaysia, MINI has been growing from strength to strength, charting strong double-digit growth year on year for over a decade now,” says Hoelzl. “Key to this effort are our premium partners such as Auto Bavaria who play an important role as our key touch point to our customers here.”
Auto Bavaria managing director Jeffrey Gan adds that the space goes beyond just functioning as a showroom. ““The new MINI Kuala Lumpur is more than just a showroom – we are confident that this new showroom will enhance our customer buying experience and strengthen the position of MINI in Malaysia especially within the Klang Valley area, attracting more people to the facility with its unconventional and unique concept that best fit the urban lifestyles in Kuala Lumpur.”
