Mode Interior Style uses bright colours in accents to enliven a contemporary arrangement of stone and wood inspired by the outdoors.
The seating and dining spaces are set on top of raised platforms of wood, with a wall of stone veneer in between as separation. The seating area contains a Zen floor exhibit of white river pebbles poured into trays composed of pale timber. The wall-mounted television is framed by irregularly-shaped display shelves painted in a pale orange to enliven the space. A reflective panel underscores the television, and along with a partial frame constructed from pale wood, marks out the nearly imperceptible console surface.

Furnishings in the seating area and adjacent hallway are upholstered in blue to contrast against the tangerine accents and peach-coloured walls. The stairway to the upper floor is obscured behind a mirrored alcove with bench seating upholstered in blue velvet, while the entrance to the stairs is indicated with walls painted in indigo.

The adjacent dining space is composed of a high perch dining table accompanied by upholstered bar stools and a bench for variation. The outdoors style of furnishing adds a novel dimension to the décor of this home, complemented by the view of the gardens, the artificial turf in the nearby light-well, and the plastic foliage depicting ivy creepers on stone pillars. The wall of the dining space is panelled in stone, creating the impression of an exterior wall to augment the outdoor-styled ambiance.

Perhaps the most intriguing space in this home is the light-well – floored with artificial turf and bearing a climbing net in safety orange as a ceiling. The addition of display niches and a hot-pink throw pillow at this dizzying height implies that the net is used by the more adventurous occupants of this household as a space for relaxing in the sunlight.

A doorway and a see-through niche are the only forms of separation between the dining area and the kitchen, a consideration that was included to enlarge the narrow food preparation space. The use of bright orange as an accent colour is repeated here, in a box frame around the display shelf. A wall on the other end of the kitchen is decorated in mirrored panels to further enlarge the space.

Natural textures prevail in the master bedroom with stone panels fixed to walls and wood used in the bedstead. The wood planks create a rustic platform with an adjoining headboard that stretches to a lip on the ceiling. An additional layer of padding in blue velvet is used to provide a soft layer to the bed headboard. A see-through partition with the silhouettes of tree branches cut into it serves as separation between the bedroom entryway and the study corner.
