The upcoming SENJA development by BRDB has been designed to bring to life the therapeutic qualities of lakefront living. Its homes are designed around modern architectural principles of free flowing spaces that connect the internal spaces with the external. Large expanses of picturesque views from every vantage point of the home, and sustainable architectural practices complement the natural environment of this serene residential enclave.
Within the SENJA enclave, the interior of the semi-detached villa and zero lot bungalow are designed by David Winter of Red Zephyr Studio. An innovative and creative interior designer, Winter’s passion for colour, light and form in the design process ensures sophisticated style and originality. For the semi-detached villa, its interior spaces are designed to reflect the experience of a home by the lake. With its vast spaces, it ultimately offers an airy and restful abode. Warm, earthy tones with the accent of brown, white and crème are complemented by vibrant infusions of maroon and turquoise throughout the home.
The interior also repeats key themes from its surrounding natural landscapes. Strong use of wood seen in furniture pieces, plantation shutters and doors, as well as outdoor elements such as timber decks and wooden benches evoke a high-end natural ambience, all beautifully complemented by fine art and furniture to reflect nature’s beauty. The house is also built to allow cooling breezes to waft through and comes complete with a private garden.
The second interior – the bungalow – features an opulent nature-inspired theme highlighted by a strong interplay of antiques, table lamps, colorful artwork and a modern combination of glass, steel and stones. The zero-lot bungalow is designed with hints of tropics where louvre windows, wooden elements and clean ceiling fans are installed. Upstairs, the private spaces are modern yet comfortable. The kid’s room lends a bright and breezy feel with plenty of storage areas, and shelves for storybooks and hobbies while the master bedroom reflects an elegant and chic feel.
