The 30th China International Furniture Expo (Furniture China 2025) concluded successfully at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre(SNIEC), reaffirming its position as one of Asia’s most influential trade fairs.
This year’s special feature — the “Top 10 Chinese Furniture Brands Exhibition” — focused on the theme “Designing a Strong Nation.” Gathering the country’s most established names including SUNON, Zuoyou, Fengyang, Onlead, Aurora, Quama, Qianjin, Bluebird, Dosen, Logic, and Huasheng — the showcase celebrated the growing strength and innovation of China’s furniture industry.
The pavilion drew inspiration from Eastern philosophy, adopting a “square within a circle” concept. A series of open roof trusses filtered light through the exhibition halls, creating rhythmic layers of brightness and shade. Each brand booth stood independently yet remained visually connected, presenting a complete spectrum of office, home, and contract solutions.
What masterpieces captured the world’s attention this year?
SUNON
SUNON introduced the UP7 Smart Sit-Stand Workstation, winner of the GOLDAXE China Household Products Innovation Competition 2025, redefining flexible and health-oriented office design. Another highlight, the Flora Sofa, merges tubular steel with woven forms, translating the fluidity of vines into soft curves and rational structure — a poetic balance of movement and stillness.
ZUOYOU
Under the theme “The World’s Living Room: A Green Future Together,” ZUOYOU unveiled designs combining humanistic warmth and intelligent technology. The Viteliv Sofa, inspired by Tao Te Ching’s concept of “form emerging from chaos,” envelops users in an embracing, cocoon-like shape. Smart innovations like the Qingluan Massage Chair integrate heating, motion, and music therapy, while its “Dad’s Wellness Recliner” and “Mom’s Wellness Recliner” bring comfort and assistive functions to family living.
FENGYANG
Fengyang showcased the Gold Label Handcrafted Mattress, a blend of intangible heritage techniques and modern ergonomics, alongside a new roll-packed mattress series designed for flexible living and hospitality. Each piece reflects the brand’s craftsmanship and insight into evolving sleep culture.
ONLEAD
Onlead drew inspiration from York Minster’s vaulted ceilings for its York Sofa, combining modular versatility and refined colour palettes. An integrated hidden power module exemplifies user-centric detail, supporting hybrid scenarios — from social collaboration to private focus zones — for today’s dynamic workplace.
AURORA
Under the theme “Sit Well, Work Better,” Aurora collaborated with Swiss designer Cuno Frommherz to debut the Como Sofa, echoing the serenity of Italy’s Lake Como. The Swift Hub Central Cable System ensures clutter-free workstations, while seating collections like Airsys, Eterno, Verge, Fizz continue to express Aurora’s philosophy of healthy and productive ergonomics.
QUAMA
Quama’s Modular Sofa System focuses on efficiency and comfort, adapting effortlessly across modern office environments. Its scalable components allow users to configure linear, corner, or collaborative zones, fusing aesthetics, performance, and social engagement.
QIANJIN
Awarded the 2025 Red Dot Design Award, Qianjin’s “Hidden Fragrance Coat Stand” exemplifies the brand’s innovative craftsmanship. Other standout pieces include the Arabica Coffee Table, π Stool, Flow Lounge Chair, and Conch Recliner — each exploring organic form, ergonomics, and solid-wood artistry with sculptural precision.
BLUEBIRD
Bluebird’s collection channels refined Oriental grace through modern expression. The Yueman Sofa features a Prussian blue palette and “official’s hat” silhouette, while the Bamboo Rain Sofa embodies quiet elegance. Pieces like the Fringe Lounge Chair and Horse-Stool Armchair reinterpret traditional Ming lines with a contemporary sensibility.
DOSEN
Rooted in Eastern cultural DNA, Dosen presented a full narrative of living aesthetics — from the stately Classic and Neo-Classical collections to the refined Wensong, minimalist Suke, and contemplative Shangjing series. Its bespoke Whole-Home Customization program further explores how traditional Chinese design finds new life in modern interiors.
LOGIC
Logic’s Aviator Executive Desk redefines office luxury through aerospace engineering aesthetics.
Crafted in stainless steel with organic contours, it captures both power and lightness, embodying the contemporary executive’s pursuit of efficiency and elegance.
HUASHENG
With roots in professional, high-end, and stable manufacturing, Huasheng spans office, hospitality, education, and healthcare furniture. The brand was named one of the China Top 10 Office and Commercial Furniture Brands of 2025, underscoring its commitment to quality and industrial excellence.
