This open-layout office uses an orderly arrangement of modern lines with an assortment of shades and textures to visually distinguish separate areas while maintaining transparency in borders.
An introduction to the upcoming colours is presented in the hallway leading to this office decorated by the Hamodal group. The hall is lit along its length by a series of warm yellow lights hidden in rectangular voids on the plaster ceiling. Beyond the reflective metal cladding of the entryway, the voids turn to white arches with the lights continuing vertically down the walls, framing the glossy pear-green wall panels. The thoughtful addition of a long wooden bench transforms this passage into a seating space. Occupying the opposite wall of the hallway is a seemingly random assembly of squares in white plaster that is playfully dotted with the occasional pear-green tile.

Upon entering this office, visitors would be greeted by a striking visual composition positioned behind the reception desk, blending a ceiling tray with a wall façade, with right angles cut into the surface to reveal an ochre background contrasting against the white plaster. The ceiling is bare around this feature and elsewhere in the office, exposing sprinkler pipes and air-conditioning ducts in industrial tradition.

In the conference room adjacent to the reception area, the wall and ceiling tray feature is repeated to a larger scale. The feature wall of the conference room is wider, enabling the right angle cuts to form a closed loop around a decorated niche. The conference table comfortably seats up to 12 in a glass enclosed room, its transparency occasionally interrupted by decorative panels of frosted glass. The designers used the chairs as an opportunity to inject some trademark colour, with the backs of the seats in the conference room presenting the Hamodal group’s particular shade of red in the mesh.

The expanse of the bullpen is retained with the use of modular glass-topped half-walls serving as separation between cubicles. The space is lit by a series of circular white lamps hung at intervals across the ceiling, providing a measure of curves to offset the straight modern lines prevalent throughout the office.

In contrast to the rest of the office space, the break-room embodies a more homely vibe with its furnishings laminated in wood and its walls covered in printed vinyl depicting exposed brick. The choice of ceiling lamps also serves to distinguish the ambiance of the break-room; black rails suspend trios of black spot lights illuminating the walls for decorative effect and the circular lamps turn to hanging bulbs with shades.
