VIATT 2026: Driving Transformation in ASEAN’s Textile Industry

by creativehomex

The third edition of the Vietnam International Trade Fair for Apparel, Textiles and Textile Technologies concluded on a strong note, reaffirming its position as a vital sourcing and business hub for ASEAN’s textile sector. Held over three days, the event attracted more than 17,000 visits from 54 countries and regions, with over 460 exhibitors representing 21 markets across an expansive 18,000 sqm show floor.

This year’s edition marked a significant evolution, introducing new international pavilions and specialised zones that broadened sourcing opportunities across emerging geographies and product segments. European participation remained a highlight, particularly within the German Pavilion, which showcased precision-engineered solutions and high-quality manufacturing. The introduction of the Türkiye Zone added further diversity, enriching the fair’s international appeal. VIATT also drew major global buyers, including Adidas, H&M, and Muji, alongside 10 international delegations.

Speaking at the opening, Bui Quang Hung of VIETRADE highlighted Vietnam’s transition towards higher value-added production, green manufacturing, and technological advancement. The fair, he noted, serves as a catalyst for global collaboration and innovation within the domestic industry.

Beyond the exhibition floor, a comprehensive fringe programme—featuring summits, workshops, and fashion shows—provided valuable industry insights.
The debut of the Trend Forum further enhanced the fair’s profile, offering forward-looking insights and reinforcing VIATT’s role as a platform that spans the entire textile value chain.

With its continued growth and expanding global reach, VIATT is set to return from 24–26 February 2027, building on its momentum as a cornerstone event for the regional textile industry.
