Billed as the next generation cloud-based security system, the SHARP Cloud SmartHome System from Sharp-Roxy Sales & Service Company (M) Sdn. Bhd. (SRSSC) offers an easy to set-up, fully expandable and integrated Alarm, Monitoring and Surveillance capability, all at a superbly affordable price.
Unlike the traditional security system that requires professional installation and monthly service contract, the SHARP Cloud SmartHome System can be easily set up by just plugging it in, activating it and it’s good to go! There’s no need for an installer and hence no installation charges. Additionally, there’s no monthly service provider fee. Since it is cloud-based, users have full access to the system anywhere they are as long as they are connected to the Internet via a user-friendly app on their smart devices. Currently, the system is compatible with Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android platforms.
The system allows for multiple family or authorized user access (up to five authorized users and five emergency contacts), multiple location monitoring, simultaneous 24/7 event notification via email and text message and remote arm/disarm functions. In addition, the system also features panic button function. In case of emergency, pushing the arm button on the remote control for 6 seconds will trigger the alarm and alerts will be sent to everyone on the contact list.In case of any break-in events, users and their authorized contacts will be immediately alerted on their smart devices. The system will automatically record the event and users will be able to share this footage with their authorized contacts and the authority to assist in their investigation.
Befitting its tagline – Created for Security, Engineered for Life – the SHARP Cloud SmartHome System is fully expandable. The starter kit consists of 1 unit of OPU (Overcloud Processing Unit), which is the heart of the system, 2 units of High Definition IP cameras, 2 units of door/window sensors, 1 unit of remote control and 1 unit of 16GB USB Flash driver. Equipped with infrared capability, the HD IP camera will automatically switch to night vision when the light gets low enough. In addition, the camera comes with microphone and speaker, which enables two-way communications.
