Chic, ultra-cool and original are the words that will strike you as you enter through the doorway. The first thing that catches your attention is the custom-designed tree art adorning the wall behind the television unit. This creates an exiting focal point in the living area where the plain-coloured L-shaped sofa and a charming storage chest cum coffee table lie atop a simple area rug. And for textural interest, the wall behind the sofa features an exposed brickwall painted in white. Further ahead, the dining area is brilliantly integrated into the kitchen space where a long island unit is both used as an area for food preparation as well as a dining space.
A warm-coloured wood veneer and designer chairs are selected to add a pleasant contrast to this all-white space. Sufficient storage is also available by the full-height cabinetry in matte white finish which blends seamlessly into the floor and ceiling, creating a spacious and airy feel. And for a dash of colour, a clear vase in bright red containing tall sprays of soft, white blooms is placed in the kitchen to break the visual monotony of the straight, hard lines.
