Dreamy Escapade

by creativehomex

A mix of texture, pattern, quality materials and varying shades all play an important role in designing a neutral-coloured interior that are both soothing and sophisticated. Located in the prestigious Bukit Jelutong, this luxurious show unit combines a comfortable home ambience with luxurious resort-style living. Designed by Geoffrey Thomas, this sculptural collection of spaces depicts an out-of-the-ordinary elegance. Surrounded by handsome folding doors, the living area features casual, modern furniture with clean and sleek lines, and allows its users to feel completely at home and seamless with the nature outside. A faux tiger fur rug adds a splash of tropical-chic and visual-interest against the plain seashell-coloured lounge sofa. Throughout the interiors, a contrast between the light, warm flooring and natural fabrics with the rough, uneven surfaces of the wooden furniture truly inspires a deep sense of serenity.

Long cotton-white drapes with chic taupe hemlines are used to dress all the large windows, as well as to softly define certain living areas when used as vertical screens. The master bedroom, with its impressive high-sloped, double-volume ceiling maintains a resort-style feel. Its imposing yet elegant black four-poster bed becomes the focal point of the room and is teamed up with a pair of sleek, pale-coloured side tables. Sculptural vases, black ornate table lamps and contemporary artworks are also added to create an artistic and modern feel to this comforting space.
