If you are aiming to create a vibrant and radiant living room, red is a powerful colour to work with. Even a small dose of bold and vibrant red adds energy and impact to any room. To achieve an elegant and dramatic effect, the use of red curtains will create an instant wow factor in your living spaces.
Adding red curtains to a room provides a pop of colour that makes the space more welcoming. Select the curtain length according to the size of the window, and the amount of red colour you want to include in the room. If you’re decorating a large living room window, lush red curtains with a bit of a gold and black tint helps to keep the theme elegant.
If the space includes red furniture and you want curtains that match, large curtains that cover the largest window in the room will look elegant. However you may want to keep the rest of your décor in neutral tones as large red curtains can easily overpower a room.
