In this residence, the designer focuses on creating a tranquil home by using wood panelling to soften aluminium window frames and beams, reducing visual heaviness. Curved ceiling edges add a light, fluid touch, while beige mineral wall paint enhances the pristine, soothing ambience.
Prioritising family connections, the open layout eliminates kitchen doors, integrating a piano beside the living room window to encourage interaction. Varying furniture heights define spaces without barriers, while a solid wood double door provides privacy between shared and personal areas. Behind it, a spacious study offers an inviting retreat for book-loving residents.
Sustainability is key, with eco-conscious materials, minimal adhesives, and single-piece furnishings. Natural light, dimmable ceilings, and energy-efficient LEDs ensure a bright, power-saving living environment.
