GDP Architects Takes a Moment with Group, Design, Partnership; a Retrospective Exhibition
In August, GDP Architects launched their a retrospective exhibition of its first thirty-five years at GDP Campus. The very words Group, Design, Partnership manifest as GDP’s initials, carrying the gestures core to the practice’s journey. The exhibition unfolded as a procession through GDP’s many canvases of opportunities turned contributions – from rooms to landmarks. Six themes will mark the course, foregrounding select projects as they open up conversations on building homes to building the nation. Beyond aesthetics, encounter the projects as GDP’s own answers to ever-changing questions on human needs and wants. That change is constant is, in fact, GDP’s working reality: each project asserts how the practice’s pursuit of design fluency is put to the test time and time again.
