Hisense Malaysia Enriches Children’s Lives with Essential Home Appliance Donations in Malaysia
Hisense Malaysia, a leading brand in global consumer electronics and home appliances, has recently enhanced the lives of underprivileged children through their recent Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative – in efforts to give back to the local community. The initiative focused on contributing to the homes of orphaned children with Hisense home appliances, essential goods and contributions worth RM24,000. A total of eight local children homes were included, namely, Trinity Community Children Home, Shelter Home for Children, Suriana Welfare Society, Rumah Hope, Lighthouse Children Welfare Home Association, Praise Emmanuel Children’s Home, Rumah Aman Children’s Home, and Pertubuhan Kebajikan Kanak Kanak. Through the initiative in collaboration with the children’s homes, the company has donated a range of home appliances, including air conditioners, refrigerators, freezers, televisions and electric pressure cookers, to enhance the daily living conditions of these children.

DG Taiwan 2025 Wraps Up with Strong International Turnout and Cross-Sector Momentum
The DG Taiwan 2025 (Designed Giftionery Taiwan), organized by Taipei World Trade Center, successfully concluded on April 20, drawing more than 12,000 visitors over four days. The event welcomed international trade visitors from 41 countries and regions with the top five buyer countries being Japan, Mainland China, the United States, Thailand, and South Korea. This year’s DG Taiwan spotlighted four core themes: Design and Novelty, Customized, Eco-Friendly, and Smart Innovation Solution. These themes summarize the growing trends in the gifting and creative industries, where design, creativity, and sustainability take center stage and enhanced by the integration of smart technologies.

Austria’s Design Month Graz 2025: entering “The New Real”
Every spring, Graz — Austria’s dynamic UNESCO City of Design — transforms into a playground for the world’s most inquisitive, creative, and forward-thinking minds. But this year, something feels different. As we head toward the 2025 edition of Design Month Graz, taking place from May 9 to June 1, the spotlight shifts toward a timely and provocative theme: “The New Real.” The festivities officially kick off the weekend of May 9–11, and the opening is set to be nothing short of electric. On Friday, May 9, the Grand Opening Ceremony will bring together design lovers, professionals, institutions, and curious minds for an evening filled with exhibitions, presentations, and a lively opening party that promises to set the tone for what’s to come. By Saturday, the city begins to buzz. As the day unfolds, three standout exhibitions make their debut: “Rebel Poster”, with a playful and hands-on “Print n Dance” screen-printing session, “Stitching the Centuries”, which reimagines medieval craftsmanship through a contemporary lens, and “T4T – Tools for Transformation”, brought to life by the Industrial Design department at the University of Applied Sciences.
