SofaX: A Home Design App that Makes Interior Design For Homeowners and Professionals Alike
Launched in November 2020, SofaX is the first of its kind home design mobile application that offers users the ability to visualise the combination of different furniture, fittings and interior design ideas in their virtual house plans. Partnering with Crown Living, the app offers users access to a catalogue of more than 3,000 products over 150 brands, a portfolio of 100 interior designers and provides users with 1500 floor plans to utilise. Ultimately, the partnership between SofaX and Crown Living aims to ensure that homeowners experience a harmonious journey, from finding the right furniture and adding those pieces to one’s home, after falling in love with a home design.

Homeowners can now find their floor plans on the SofaX app which allows them to do virtual walkthroughs and work on designing their spaces virtually using furniture listings from over 150 furniture stores available on the app. These virtual designs would then serve as an accurate guide for both buyer and seller when homeowners begin their furniture buying journey. For customers, this means purchasing pieces that fit into the envisioned style more seamlessly. On the other hand, furniture retailers like Crown Livin can provide a higher level of service by making realistic recommendations when customers walk in to make purchases. The goal is to reduce the return/exchange rate while increasing customer satisfaction in the overall experience.
