Successful first GROHE X Summit “Caring for Water” and GROHE Everstream
GROHE is beyond thrilled to declare the first GROHE X Summit “Caring for Water” a great success – in every regard: the 17 different events broadcast over three days on the GROHE X digital experience hub recorded over 14,000 video views. From March 7th until March 9th thousands of GROHE X visitors were presented with multi-media formats, from keynotes to masterclasses, from fact snacks to panel talks. The GROHE X digital experience platform turned into a hub of knowledge transfer on the topics of water, living and future homes. The Summit covered issues ranging from interior design trends and the development of innovative products to the improvement of customer relations and how GROHE has put its customers’ needs at the forefront of its go-to-market strategy. GROHE also presented its highly anticipated GROHE Everstream technology that cleans, reheats and reuses water. The shower system uses as little as a quarter of the water and a third of the energy typically required by traditional showers, translating into a cost saving of up to 65% a year for a four-person household, and up to 70% fewer CO2 emissions, depending on individual showering habits. GROHE Everstream technology will change the way we use water without compromising on comfort. It will be available from spring 2024 as the brand aims to have all GROHE concealed showers water-recycling-ready by 2030.

Harvey Norman Debuts Exquisite Collection of Italian Sofas by Cubo Rosso

The Italian Eleganza event was a celebration of all things Italian, featuring the best of Italian design, style and craftsmanship. The new collection of Italian sofas showcased at the event was handcrafted to perfection by some of the best artisans in Italy. The collection featured a wide range of styles, colours and materials, including both leather and fabric upholstery options, to suit every Malaysian homeowner’s taste and preference. The event was attended by a select group of Harvey Norman’s esteemed clients, including interior designers, architects and homeowners. The attendees had the opportunity to view and experience the new collection of Italian sofas up close, interact with the Harvey Norman team and the representative from Cubo Rosso.

Cosentino Kicked Off the First Design x Dialogue
Cosentino in partnership with IDr Lai Siew Hong, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Designer will be hosting a series of Design x Dialogue sessions throughout the year. In line with Cosentino’s commitment to supporting the local community of interior designers or architecture, Cosentino kicked off its inaugural Cosentino Design X Dialogue session titled “Journey in Design and Discovery”, the first of its four-part series session that spotlights two up-and-coming designers Edward Tan, Founder of Spacemen Studio and graphic designer turned product designer Wei Ming Tan, Founder of Aureole Design. Held at the Cosentino Showroom, the session saw the attendance of architects and famed interior designers such as IDr Ooi Boon Seong, President of Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers (MIID) and Matthew Lim from MLA Design, who were interested to tap into the young minds of the designers and learn how these creative minds derive their design inspiration from and come out with practical and creative solutions that can be implemented into various projects from residential projects to retail stores.

E&O Unveils ‘Human Living’ Digital Series Featuring Malaysia’s Talents
Eastern & Oriental Berhad (E&O), the premier lifestyle property developer, has released “Human Living”, a digital documentary series that offers valuable insights and perspectives from some of the country’s brilliant thinkers, entrepreneurs and artists in rethinking where and how we live. Sony’s newest soundbar, the HT-S2000 is a 3.1ch Dolby Atmos® / DTS:X® soundbar that delivers cinematic surround sound by Vertical Surround Engine and S-Force PRO Front Surround. Thanks to a newly developed up mixer, this soundbar delivers a three-dimensional surround experience even when playing stereo content. The centre speaker ensures clear dialogue, while the built-in dual subwoofer delivers deep bass. This soundbar will also be the first compatible device for the new Sony | Home Entertainment Connect app. With Vertical Surround Engine and S-Force PRO Front Surround, the HT-S2000 creates cinematic surround sound that lets consumers enjoy the thrill of Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. With Sony’s virtual surround technology, the soundbar can position sound in vertical space. S-Force PRO virtually reproduces the surround sound field, with audio coming from both sides. Entertainment lovers can enjoy rich, cinematic surround sound without cluttering their living space. The HT-S2000 will be available at a recommended retail price of RM2,199 from June 2023 in Malaysia.
