10,000 sq ft space marks major expansion into retail market

GoldenHome, a global leader in premium home and kitchen cabinetry, opens the doors to its first standalone retail showroom in Malaysia. Spanning 10,000 square feet and inaugurated by CEO & Founder Sean Zen Pan, this milestone marks GoldenHome’s ambitious entry into the Malaysian consumer market—offering design-savvy homeowners direct access to the brand’s award-winning craftsmanship, cutting-edge smart technology, and eco-conscious solutions.

Since its founding in 1999, GoldenHome has cemented its reputation through over 4,000 franchises and dealerships worldwide, serving millions of families with bespoke cabinetry solutions. Locally, GoldenHome Malaysia Sdn Bhd, established in 2017, has excelled in high-profile corporate joinery projects, from the Icon Residence in Mont Kiara to the Sunway Putra Hotel.  The opening of this flagship showroom signifies the company’s strategic pivot to reach retail customers, offering stylish, healthy, and functional kitchen solutions that are designed to last.

Sean Zen Pan, who made a special appearance to mark this significant milestone in the company’s international growth journey believes Malaysia is an exciting and key growth market for GoldenHome.

“Malaysia is a strategic hub to Southeast Asia and we are thrilled to bring our products directly to discerning Malaysian homeowners and look forward to setting new standards in kitchen design, quality, and innovation,” he said.

“This 10,000 sq ft space allows us to fully showcase our diverse product range and lets Malaysia’s sophisticated and design-savvy homeowners touch, feel and fully customise spaces that reflect both global trends and local aesthetics,” he added.

GoldenHome’s new showroom is thoughtfully designed to reflect the modern Malaysian lifestyle while staying true to the brand’s global commitment to innovation and craftsmanship. The space features AI-powered 3D configurators and interactive mock-ups that allow visitors to visualise personalised kitchens, wardrobes, and whole-home solutions in real time. Smart storage systems and IoT-integrated kitchens help optimise space and the showroom also highlights sustainable collections made from ENF-certified boards, low-VOC finishes, and bamboo composites—materials especially suited for Malaysia’s humid climate.

Sustainability sits at the core of GoldenHome’s ethos. GoldenHome is committed to green development by integrating environmental practices across its entire value chain. From sourcing certified eco-friendly materials and using water-based paints to pioneering bamboo-based alternatives for PVC and wood, the company prioritises sustainability at every stage. GoldenHome continuously upgrades its production with energy-saving technologies, reduces emissions, and promotes recycling to support global carbon reduction goals. It also champions green design and consumer awareness, ensuring all products meet environmental standards throughout their lifecycle.

The flagship showroom is designed to showcase the full range of GoldenHome’s premium cabinetry collections, offering customers an immersive experience in kitchen craftsmanship, design inspiration, and personalised consultation services. The showroom operates using an innovative franchising concept known as the shared showroom model. This new business model is designed to enable more industry practitioners to become partners, maximise resource integration, and foster mutually beneficial cooperation.
