Located in Petaling Jaya, Megah Rise Residensi is developed by PPB Properties, this show unit focuses on the coexistence of humans and pets, injecting playful and bold design elements into a minimalist space. The aim is to create a comfortable and personalized living environment for both humans and cats, allowing them to find their own sense of belonging.
In the living room, a specially customized white bench is placed next to an L-shaped milk tea-colored leather sofa, complemented by a yellow side table for convenient placement of books, creating a cozy reading area with a bright and airy atmosphere. Embracing the natural climbing instincts of cats, a vertical wall is utilized to create a display shelf in a refreshing lake blue color, integrated with platforms and catwalk paths. This design becomes the visual focal point of the living room, accompanied by a thoughtful placement of stairs for cats to freely roam between the foyer and the living area, constructing a playground for them to explore and navigate effortlessly.

The designer has hollowed out the middle of the wooden door panels and added transparent spaceship elements, creating “resting stations” for cats in mid-air. This cleverly combines the needs of cats with the aesthetics of living spaces. The mini cat spaceships become safe havens for cats to rest and observe, allowing them to peacefully explore the outside world.

Whether nestled inside the spaceships or perched on the blue pathway, the cats can freely exhibit their nature and relish in their own space. Furthermore, the designer has crafted several semicircular hollows underneath the cabinets, providing a cozy hiding place for the cats. With the addition of soft cushions, it can easily transform into a snug cat bed.

The dining area is dominated by clean white tones, featuring uniquely shaped white dining table and chairs. Two futuristically styled lighting fixtures with simple lines are casually suspended, illuminating the elegant dining scene.

The ceiling of the hallway is embellished with curved elements, creating a gentle and playful ambiance while also drawing the eyes upward. Geometric shapes are prominent throughout the space, including circular patterns on the wooden doors combined with transparent glass, transforming the doors into lively decorative elements.

The bed headboard in the master bedroom incorporates various materials, creating a sense of subtle luxury and tranquility in the space. Delicate and refined texture details add depth and visual interest. On the wall of the dressing table, pops of bright blue accentuate the spatial variations, accompanied by white metal shelves. These shelves not only provide space for decor items but also serve as temporary platforms for cats to jump on. The dressing mirror can be closed when not in use, restoring a clean and tidy visual appearance to the space.

The daughter’s room is designed with a white base, complemented by unique orange and green storage cabinets, injecting vitality and fun. These elements create a distinct and pleasant atmosphere, accompanied by warm and natural wooden flooring and the presence of plush toys, establishing a cozy and comfortable sleeping ambiance.
