Did you know that the components that make up your kitchen may have a strong impact on your health and the environment? SCI Cabinet Industry knows this too well, and that is why they have come up with an eco-focused kitchen series to offer you a healthier alternative for your home.

This unique series by SCI called ECO+ Series is an environmentally sensitive product designed to create a healthier environment within your home. This is achieved via the creation of a range of cabinets using strictly selected materials with reduced (minimal) or no harm at all to your environment.

Conventional kitchen  materials may contain formaldehyde, a substance that can adversely affect you, causing watery, burning eyes, nose and throat. Asthmatic attacks, skin irritation, headaches and nausea are all also possible short term side effects of formaldehyde exposure. Fortunately, there’s now the ECO+ Series which offers Eco-friendly kitchens that are manufactured using low formaldehyde materials.

According to Ms. Wong Lai Ping, Managing Director of SCI Cabinet Industry, the first step to creative a  healthier home space is to prevent these chemicals like formaldehyde from getting into your home. “It’s worth  the small change now to avoid potential long term health impacts on you and those you care about,” she says.  “There are many similar products offered by many players in the same industry. However, we are one of the pioneers in Malaysia to offer the ECO+ Series. These are sustainable products that are environmental friendly. In other simpler meaning, it is similar to what most people understand as a “green product”.”

SCI was established in year 1995. It is one of the few pioneer kitchen cabinets manufacturers in Malaysia to consistently provide the best products to their valued customers. Today, their factory in Subang Jaya, Selangor employs more than 165 people and currently there are 21 showrooms in both Peninsular and East Malaysia. On top of this, SCI has presence in the international market including Singapore, Indonesia and Myanmar.
