The first sight to greet a visitor to this family home, designed by Living Space Creative Design, is the expansive seating lounge presenting an eclectic collection composed of equal parts modern and classical in the same space. An extra-length, low-back sofa forms the border between the seating lounge and the foyer, with two pairs of armchairs situated on either side of the space. The space is defined by a large area carpet bearing a geometric motif of modern design, its dimensions mirrored by the recessed border of light on the ceiling. The arrangement is bounded on three sides: wide windows on two sides, and a cement rendered finish on the decorative feature wall, complete with the separating lines and bolt holes reminiscent of modern pre-cast concrete panels.
A private seating corner takes up the remaining space at the far end of the open ground floor, obscured behind a simplistic shelving unit of modern design, to provide a convenient place to recover from a meal in the adjacent dining area. Around the corner lies the formal dining space furnished with pieces of divergent styles. Accompanied by high-backed dining chairs with button-back upholstery in magenta, the modern dining table is seemingly made for the space, with its dimensions neatly framed by the enclosing walls.

Eclectic Ensembles: A secluded seating corner and the adjacent dining area are diversely composed, with furnishings in opposing designs arranged into cohesive assemblies that speak volumes of the homeowner’s unconventional style.
Beyond the dining space are the kitchens – both dry and wet kitchens are based in white tiles, but while the dry kitchen is largely decorated in black to serve as a dramatic backdrop for the glossy red barstools, the wet kitchen reduces the use of black to the countertops and to frame cabinets, echoing the monochromatic basis of the dry kitchen.

Monochromatic Base: The palettes of the dry and wet kitchen areas are dominated by black and white cabinetry, with the spaces accented by the deliberate placement of glossy red barstools of curvaceous and retro design.
The intermediate and upper floors of this home contain the bedchambers, a dedicated audio-video room, and two additional family seating lounges painted in the serene shades of white and grey. The seating lounge on the intermediate floor is gifted with abundant natural light through the set of sliding glass doors providing access to a wide balcony and the picturesque surrounding landscape, while the upper floor lounge transports the outdoor vista inward with light green upholstery to mimic the greenery.

Serene Moods: A limited palette of white and blue-grey is applied for a calming effect in the seating lounge of the upper floor, while the décor of a nearby bedroom is saturated in the shades of wood – with the use of blue applied as an accent colour.
The bedrooms are apparently decorated according to the individual tastes of the occupants, with each space bearing a unique arrangement reflecting distinct personalities. The more youthful bedrooms feature open wardrobes in a divergence from convention, while masculine bedrooms are given dark wall treatments, and the more feminine bedrooms are kept lightweight with playful colours used amidst a predominately off-white palette wood.

Coloured Accents: Simplistic spaces are given doses of vibrancy in the selection of fabrics for drapery and upholstery in elementary shades: red, yellow, green, and blue.

Luxurious Details: The master bedroom presents a unique winged headboard and button-backed upholstery, while the en-suite bathroom bears grey wall tiles stamped with the textures of untreated wood and narrowly spaced floor tiles in a shade reminiscent of sandstone.

Contrasted Effects: The magenta bed-sheets produce polar results in two different settings: the first subdues the colour with dark walls and eye-catching Asiatic decorations while the second highlights the sheets with off-white walls and a dresser set bearing whitewashed laminate.
