Inspired by the owner’s lifestyle, the beauty in this home was brought to life with a serene colour palette paired with exquisite material that denotes luxury and style.
Luxurious comfort comes in many forms. In this 3,600 sqft Semi-D in Alam Impian designed by Benchmarc Woodcrafters Sdn Bhd, cosy luxury is given a modern interpretation through the use of elegant materials to reflect the owner’s contemporary lifestyle and design-conscious taste.
“The clients have a strong appreciation for current interior design trends. Their main requirement for this project is to create a comfortable living environment that captures their preferred design and style while staying within their budget,” says the design team from Benchmarc Woodcrafters. “The inspiration behind this project came from the client’s unique requirements and modern lifestyle – two key aspects that you can see in the interior design of this home.”
To comply with the clients’ specifications, the designers employed marble stone against a backdrop illuminated by magnetic lights to create a sense of modern luxury. Gold accents are also incorporated to pull the luxe elements together, portraying a sleek and seamless elegance that flows throughout the home. “Gold lines on the wall panels are one of the most outstanding features in this home,” the design team explains. “The golden lines were customised with metal and powder-coated in chrome gold to generate a classy feeling.”
Other special materials include the marble-textured porcelain slabs, which come with a natural marble effect – but with a lower cost than actual marble. The porcelain slabs also express a more modern outlook, which perfectly fits the design concept.
In addition to the materials, the design team also highlights some of the functional accessories used in the kitchen. For instance, a hidden folding swing door in the dry kitchen makes a great space-saving feature while keeping the electrical appliances in the tall unit within convenient reach.
