ANIMATED FASHION

Noiz, an architecture and design firm based in Tokyo and Taipei has collaborated with Hermès, introducing “Hermès Taipei 2015S/S Window Display Design”, which is displayed at six Hermès shops in Taiwan. Inspired by the popular urban icon “Xiaoluren”, an LED traffic light with an animated image of a little green man walking, “Xiaoluren” is casted as the main mischievous character, acting out in the various street scene displays. Doing anything to grab your attention such as, playing with your tie, taking your hat or just being charming, the vigorous narrative display seeks to emit vibrant movements and energy throughout the city of Taipei.

CHAMPION OF PENDANTS
Assessed by a 38 member jury among 4,928 other designs, representing 56 countries, the prestigious Red Dot Award awarded The IKEA PS Pendant “An Honourable Mention” Award. Inspired by science fiction movies and video games, the luminaire featured a simple mechanism that changes the contour of luminaire in both size and intensity of light. The pendant was said to be a well-executed aspect of design work and well thought-out design solution, where the mechanically simple but
effective dimmer function was highlighted. Available at IKEA two new editions in silver and copper will be offered from August 2015.
