Simplicity and functionality is the philosophy of the style. Mid-Century Modern style turns complexity into simplicity has smooth lines, emphasises on functionality, comfortability and aesthetic values. It’s a style that could withstand the test of time.

「簡潔」「實用」是這風格最鮮明的特色。世紀中現代風化繁為簡，空間中的內裝陳設傾向簡潔、線條流暢、功能至上、舒適度和美學，是經典耐看的設計風格。

本案是一間50坪與海毗鄰的高級公寓，屋主和 Darren 設計師溝通：希望全室能走一個暗黑色系，踏入家門能感覺一種舒服閒適的度假氛圍。因應屋主對大自然的嚮往，設計師為他量身打造由自然素材定調的一方小天地。

「自然系居家」是都市人處於鋼骨水泥叢林中期盼從中得到療癒力量，夢寐以求的居家風格。屋主寄情於自然萬物，期望構築與環境和諧共生的家居，與家人共同追求簡單樸實的美好日常。

工業風最具特色的部分，在於喜歡展現空間的自然面貌，保留「本質」是工業風最重要的精神之一。尤其，選擇帶有粗獷感的紅磚、文化石、水泥粉光、清水模的材質來舖陳牆面空間，不必對牆面進行粉刷和裝飾，藉此帶出質樸手感的粗獷之美。
