DRESSED IN JUST A MAIN COLOUR – duck-egg blue, the shop front is both welcoming and pleasing to the eye. The detailing from doorframes to window louvers adds depth to the simple design. The signage is definitely evident though dressed in white. Surprisingly, the interior boasts a woody palette with swatches of duck-egg blue in various nooks in the area. The windowpanes, dividers and walls are all implemented in the rich blue green tone. While creating cohesiveness, the designer ensures high warmth level through the switch of cement- textured tiles to wood panels for the floors. This divides the spaces intelligently while also adding layers of depth to the simple layout.

While the seating arrangements are all pushed to one side, the furniture is all placed strategically to allow great traffic flow. The choice of chairs dressed in wood, whites and grays creates a contemporary yet appealing vibe. At the end of the space, a mirrored wall bordered by duck-egg wooden panels adds more visual depth to the dining area. The same approach is seen upstairs and also at the outdoor smoking area. Chic looking fans swipe a dash of contemporary feel to the space as well. Back to the food counter, everything I kept simple, barn-style while using minimal decor elements. Indeed simple yet workable!
