Facing stubborn stains that won’t come off? The Electrolux Stainwand attachment uses ultrasonic technology to remove stains without damaging the fabric.
—
The worst stains tend to be a combination of different types of ingredients. Hot chocolate, baby poop, lipstick and others all contribute to hard-to-remove stains. Fortunately, the latest advances in ultrasonic cleaning technology mean that stains like these are easy to remove with appliances like the Electrolux Stainwand.

HOT CHOCOLATE
Protein from milk and fat, sugar and tannins that give hot chocolate its colour quite literally stir up the perfect cleaning storm when they are spilled onto fabric. Simply pre-treat the stain with the Stainwand’s ultrasound waves to loosen it from the fabric, and wash it in the Electrolux T-Drive washing machine to easily remove the stain.
BABY POOP
It’s something even the most squeamish parents have to address at some point. This is the ultimate combination stain, a result of food that’s been chemically altered after going through the digestive system. After scraping off excess residue, soak the clothing item in cold water to loosen the stain and prevent it from setting. Or fill the washing machine with cold water and run it through a gentle wash cycle. The Electrolux T-Drive’s unique paddle mechanism helps to simulate the motions of hand washing, cleaning effectively and gently. Use a mild detergent – enzyme-based detergents work best. Do not dry in a dryer – air dry in the sun instead.

LIPSTICK
The combination of oil, wax and pigments in lipstick can make it particularly tricky to remove. Start by soaking the garment in a mixture of cold water and detergent for at least an hour. Then use stain pre-treatments like heavy-duty dish detergents or appliances like the Electrolux Stainwand. Launder on the highest recommended water temperature for the garment with detergent and bleach if needed. Do not put in the dryer until the stain is completely gone. Repeat the washing process if needed.
