With personalized touches, a house can become a home instantly. Pleased with his new home makeover, Rynn open the doors to his home once again to share his joy with members of the media and sponsors.
Malaysian born singer Rynn Lim recently had a house warming party at his cozy crib. Fellow media and sponsors were invited to nestle around the living area, where fat taupe grey seaters with matching pillows blended perfectly with the white walls. Some chose to sit on the charcoal shag rug, surrounded by sculptural accessories and a sleek, brown coloured TV bench.
Rynn expressed his delight at the brand new makeover of his home, “I’m really glad that Iko (Founder of iN Publishers) managed to convince me to have this makeover for my house, it really feels like a home now. In fact it’s so comfortable to live in, that I’m reluctant to rent it out like how I’ve planned to initially.” Rynn laughs.
Not one to have much company around the house, Rynn casually added that in order to prepare for this house warming; he had taken cleaning into his own hands. “Previously I’ve gotten the cleaners to come over to do the job, but I just wanted to make sure that everything was spot on so I did a little cleaning myself as soon as I got back from an autograph session at Malacca.”
Bringing the media around for a home tour, Rynn goes on to express that he’s most pleased with the recording studio that is situated right beside his bedroom, because that is where he spends most of his time composing music.
Despite spending a fair bit of time overseas, Rynn feels that it is still wonderful to have a home to come back to in Malaysia, especially one that he had purchased with his hard earned money. A home is where the heart is, what more, a home gives him a sense of belonging.
