Kids’ rooms are a place of imagination where little ones can freely laugh, play, grow and discover. Inspired by things that delight children, furniture brand Circu has come up with a range of awe-inspiring beds that would even tempt those that are young at heart!
“We have so many cool designs for kids,” says Circu’s head designer. “The trick is to find ones that fit their personalities and work with whatever else is going on in your house. The most important thing a kid’s room has to have is some element of magic, something that really sparks their imagination.”
The first bed in their fantasy-inspired collection is Little Mermaid, a shell-shaped bed made from fibre glass. It’s also nacre painted and contains lighting features. “Shells are meant to protect little pearls, to protect them from the mother nature. This princess bed will also protect your little girl, and help her to dream and become a undersea princess,” says Circu.
The second is the Bun Van bed which has been reinvented by Circu. The exterior of this piece is made from fibre glass with chrome plated finishes; the inside is crafted from palisander wood veneer. Inside it contains several storage compartments, a bed, a tv, a mini bar and a sofa. “Created as an iconic and magical symbol of fun and freedom, this is one of the most remarkable vehicle-shaped bed ever produced,” Circu shares.
And finally to complete the series: the Fantasy Air Balloon bed , inspired by the world of adventure. Designed to grow with your little ones, the bed can be customized for little girls or boys. When they grow up, the “baby nest” can also be transformed into a teen sofa. Handmade using the best wickerwork techniques, this bed also comes with large storage capacities.
