Jenchieh Hung and Kulthida Songkittipakdee Win Prestigious MFID Award 2025

Jenchieh Hung and Kulthida Songkittipakdee, the founders and versatile architects of HAS Design and Research from Bangkok, Thailand, have won two prestigious MFID Awards 2025 from Malaysia. The first is the MoMA – Museum of Modern Aluminum Thailand, which received the Winner of Commercial for Public Spaces MFID Award. This award recognizes outstanding interior designs for public spaces, transforming these areas into sustainable, ecologically inspiring, and functional experiences.

The second is the Forest Villa, which received the Winner of Residential Luxury Home MFID Award. This award celebrates sustainability, innovation, and creativity in high-end residential projects that redefine ecological luxury, blending functionality with aesthetics to create exceptional living spaces.

These distinguished awards recognize the projects’ exceptional design, which seamlessly integrates Thai cultural heritage with contemporary living. The MoMA – Museum of Modern Aluminum Thailand and the Forest Villa by Jenchieh Hung + Kulthida Songkittipakdee / HAS Design and Research create a meaningful connection between traditional and modern experiences of the city. Set within lush, sustainable, natural landscapes and vibrant green spaces, these projects define Thailand’s evolving urban environment. This global recognition highlights the innovative approach taken in the designs and underscores the growing significance of Thailand’s architectural scene on the world stage.

The awards were presented to Jenchieh Hung + Kulthida Songkittipakdee / HAS Design and Research, and were received on behalf of Thailand by Worawan Wanwil, the Minister Counsellor (Commercial) of the Royal Thai Embassy Kuala Lumpur, and the Director of the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Malaysia.
