The 2025 Taiwan International Interior Design Exhibition (TIDE) has made a remarkable debut at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, running from June 12th to June 15th. This event showcases over 300 exhibitors and more than 1,000 booths, emphasizing Taiwan’s significant role in the global design scene with the theme “A New AI Future for Architecture.”
Smart and Sustainable Designs at the Forefront
Visitors will immediately notice the emphasis on “smart” and “sustainable” design across seven themed zones. Highlights include:
Green Revolution: Manufacturers are showcasing low-carbon, recyclable materials and design practices adhering to ESG standards, demonstrating a commitment to sustainability.
AI Integration: Attendees can experience cutting-edge applications of AI in space design through 3D virtual reality setups that simulate smart home functionality, adjusting lighting and temperature based on residents’ habits.
Craftsmanship Meets Technology: Brands like HCG and FUJIOH Taiwan are pushing the boundaries of aesthetics and technology, while innovators like Chang Hong present multifunctional, space-optimized designs.
Government Support and Future Prospects
The opening ceremony featured key political figures, including Legislative Speaker Han Kuo-yu, who emphasized the importance of integrating AI with sustainable practices in design. He expressed confidence in Taiwan’s potential for innovation in interior renovation and architectural design.
With support from official sources, the TIDE expo is poised to propel the growth of Taiwan’s interior design industry and enhance its international presence. The Taipei Association of Interior Designers (TAID) showcases the exceptional craftsmanship of Taiwanese designers, highlighting their skill in intricate details and innovative structures.
