Cuckoo’s 5th Anniversary Celebration Signals Beginning of a New Era

In conjunction with its GLORYFIVE 5th Anniversary Celebration, CUCKOO Malaysia collaborated with Astro to organise KONSERTKOO #withCUCKOO – the biggest, free-entry music concert in Malaysia at Sunway Lagoon’s Surf Beach.

The neon-party-themed event kicked off with a flurry of exciting activities, as the crowd readied themselves for the start of the concert at 8 p.m. At an event filled with lung-busting performances, surprise reveals, and mesmerising fireworks, there was perhaps no event more anticipated than the speech by founder and Group CEO of CUCKOO International, Mr KC Hoe.

Premiering a new brand video and song, Mr. Hoe revealed the company’s brand direction for 2020 – #SAMASAMA. The new theme signifies CUCKOO’s vision as it explores new ways of transforming homes into healthier spaces. During this lively event, CUCKOO Malaysia also took the opportunity to reveal its 2020 CUCKOO Ambassador – Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza.

As the pioneer Korean home appliance brand in Malaysia, CUCKOO is once more pushing the boundaries of what’s possible by introducing its first ever twin pressure multi-cooker with induction heating technology.

To enhance customer experience and strengthen its brand image as a home appliance brand, CUCKOO is revamping its brandstores across Malaysia. Renovations rolled out in November starting with an initial 200 brandstores. As a treat to those who attended, a full-scale display of the new Brandstore was available at the concert for its 10,000 attendees to peruse. The new look includes an LED display board that enhances the purchase experience.

As a show of appreciation for the loyal support of its customers over the years, CUCKOO ran a contest rewarding customers with prizes worth a total of RM138,000. The online contest, which ran from May to August 2019, required participants to snap a creative photo or video with a CUCKOO product and post it on their social media account with the #MyLifewithCUCKOO hashtag. The amount of people that participated was staggering, proving CUCKOO’s immense popularity. After battling it out with the other finalists on stage, the grand winner brought home a brand new Hyundai Ioniq and a CUCKOO home product.
