Modern interiors often give off a coo vibe but The Roof worked their magic and designed this urban themed home to exude plenty of warmth. Spanning over two storeys, this 4-bedroom home is sleek, stylish and current, with just the right amount of lived-in touches to create a perfect example of a contemporary home sweet home. The living and dining areas are set in a straightforward layout where a timber feature wall accommodating the TV takes the spotlight. Overall, an interplay of materials bring out contrast and harmony at the same time. Formal meals can be taken at the glass-topped dining table while more casual meals can be had at the island counter in the kitchen. Here, in the kitchen, the sleek worktops ensure that the main concept is maintained while the light brown cabinets complement the white walls, resulting in a bright and airy space. Right next to it, a wooden divider-shelf which also works as a display rack beautifully demarcates the space.
Upstairs, the bedrooms keep to the same contemporary outlook where furniture is strategically placed to offset the dark timber appearance. For the master bedroom, we are particularly drawn to the unique objects that are used to accentuate the space. The combination of the rug and deer head on the wall gives off a whimsical touch while the smooth light timber panel at the headboard softens the room’s appeal. Nearby, a walk-in wardrobe further displays the contemporary concept with its glass panels and a retro-looking vanity table.
