Orders Surge 68% Following Innovative Debut at Germany’s M.O.W. Fair
At this year’s M.O.W. Furniture Fair in Germany, Danish brand Bodahl Møbler reported a 68% increase in orders, driven by a bold new material innovation — Europe’s first furniture collection combining ceramic and solid wood.
“Standing still is not an option; innovation is the way forward,” said Flemming Dahl, CEO of Bodahl Møbler.
Despite a challenging European market, Dahl emphasized the company’s commitment to progress through design evolution and craftsmanship.
The new Jersey Collection, designed by Morten Georgsen — a Danish designer based in Spain — merges Nordic minimalism with Mediterranean freedom. The result is a furniture line that is both robust and refined: ceramic offers durability and heat resistance, while solid wood brings warmth and timeless tactility. Both materials expand and contract compatibly, making them ideal for kitchen and living spaces.

Customization is a key strength. Clients can select from over 100,000 combinations of tabletop finishes, legs, colors, and edge profiles — a flexibility that resonates strongly with the B2B market. Chairs and fabrics are also available in mix-and-match options to fit diverse interior concepts.
Production spans Ukraine, Romania, and China, with final assembly and quality inspection in Denmark.
“We work closely with 12 partner factories, maintaining weekly production reports to ensure consistent quality worldwide,” Dahl added.
Next, Bodahl will showcase the Jersey Collection and other new launches at the Brussels Furniture Fair, positioning itself at the forefront of Europe’s evolving furniture design landscape — where craft meets innovation and customization leads the way.
